Nice 2-4 Marseille: Blunders galore as Nice throw 2-goal lead!
Nice had only themselves to blame after throwing away a two-goal lead in the 4-2 loss to Marseille at home.Early goals from Balotelli and Seri put Nice two goals up after 16 minutes, but the hosts somehow ended the half behind. Dante missed a clearance on a cross, leaving Ocampos with an easy finish for Marseille's first goal and Lees-Melou then scored an own-goal for Marseille's second. Dante gave the ball away again, and keeper Cardinale didn't help with a poor save that gave Ocampos an easy goal on the rebound. Another poor pass from Dante in his own half gave Luis Gustavo Marseille's fourth goal. The visitors went a man down in the 66th minute when Gustavo was shown a straight red for a poor tackle, but Nice could not make the most of it. Saint-Maximin won a penalty in the 82nd minute, but Plea's poor shot went straight down the middle and was easily saved.
