Bayern 3-0 Augsburg: Classy Lewandowski brace in easy win

Robert Lewandowski scored two goals against his favourite whipping boys and maintained his record of scoring in every home game so far this season as Bayern Munich put in yet another commanding performance to dismiss Augsburg and open up a six point gap at the top of the table. Arturo Vidal opened the scoring for the champions before Lewandowski took over - his second coming thanks to a lovely cushioned volley into the bottom corner off a Joshua Kimmich cross. It was the perfect weekend for Bayern as Dortmund, who lost to Stuttgart, and Leipzig who were held by Bayer Leverkusen, both lost ground on the leaders.
